The reason is that the humidity in the air is high, and water vapor will enter the room when the windows are opened, affecting the curing of the jointing agent. Molecules mixed into the caulking agent may also damage the composition structure and affect the caulking effect.

Temperature: Due to the low temperature in winter, the seaming material will be affected by thermal expansion and contraction, and the viscosity will increase, making it difficult to print out with a glue gun. Therefore, heating should be done before caulking construction. The heating temperature of epoxy caulking agent is 70°C and the heating time is 0.5h; the heating temperature of polyurea is 50°C and the heating time is 0.5h. Remember: the heating temperature should not be too high and the time should not be too long. long and heated evenly. When heating, turn the end of the hose upward to avoid glue leakage due to heating, air entering the caulking agent, or problems such as sagging and bubbles when applying glue.

In winter, when the ambient temperature is too low, the curing time will be extended, so the glue shoveling time also needs to be extended.

The low temperature in winter causes the colloid to become brittle and the remaining materials are difficult to clean. First, the low temperature causes the curing process temperature to be lower than 5°C during winter construction, and the curing is slow. The second reason is that the textured bricks, antique bricks, and textured bricks are not decorated with wax.

Due to the low indoor temperature in winter, the curing time of the seams is extended. In rainy and snowy weather, the indoor humidity is high. In order to avoid whitening or dullness problems, it is recommended to carefully clean the seams before construction to ensure water-free and dust-free construction. Close doors and windows in rainy or snowy weather, and turn on the air conditioner indoors if possible. Once whitening occurs, it is recommended to remove the area and redo it.
